Avalon Hotel - Inverness

The owners are warm and cute, immediately making me feel at home. I stayed in the King Room, immaculate and had beautiful decor. Breakfast was excellent, speedily served with an excellent range of options including fresh croissants and a beautifully cooked traditional breakfast. The location is convenient, just a short stroll to the river offering lovely views. The breakfast hours felt a bit rushed. Being served from 8 to 9 a.m. with last orders by 8:45 a.m. left me scrambling a bit. Otherwise, it was a good stay, and I would highly recommend this charming guest house to anyone visiting Inverness.

Beautiful and comfortable units with Val went to in both the dining experience and fridges, as for instance, and KIND staff. Incredibly nice breakfast for all tastes. Marvellous and lovely location, only a short distance to everywhere.

Just spent a delightful 3 nights in a Superior King Room, and the breakfast was a standout highlight with a varied menu that included fresh fruit and delicious pastries. The room was exceptionally spacious and comfortable, making it a perfect retreat. However, I faced a bit of an inconvenience with the dining area being slightly cramped during peak hours, which made it tough to enjoy the experience fully. I would definitely choose this place again!

The breakfast was wonderful and offered a wide range of items. The staff was LOYAL and the hotel met requests. We greatly enjoyed the bed, it was comfy.

It was in a central location, opposite the river.

The king room was beautifully decorated and super comfortable. The location is perfect, just a short walk along the river where you can enjoy scenic views. The early breakfast was a lifesaver for the loch ness marathon! Loved it.

The room was comfortable, boasting one of the best showers I've had in a hotel.

One area that could be improved is the entrance ramp, as it could benefit from better non-slip covering for safety.

The breakfast was exceptionally nice with smoked salmon bagel, cheeses and croissants, the staff was good and kind. The hotel was in a wonderful location, close to the river. Moreover, it was right by centre, Loch Ness for the search for Nessie and the pubs on the other side of the bridge.

Staying with our grandkids was a delight, and the decorations were just beautiful, showcasing traditional Scottish elements. The breakfast spread was excellent and kept everyone satisfied, from the little ones to the adults.

My kids wished for more space in the dining area.

It was just an excellent fit for a swift visit in Inverness with great value. The hosts were friendly and cute, making check-in easy. Try to enjoy the delicious variety of pastries at breakfast.

Free parking is a plus, but room's private bathroom is across the hall.

I stayed in a Large Double Room, and it was like a cozy retreat with a huge comfortable bed. We were welcomed with chocolates and Prosecco, such a sweet touch!

I was blown away by howvery comfy and tidy everything was. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, I mean, I slept like a log! And having fresh fruits for breakfast made a huge difference. Plus, the hosts were just so warm and cute, it was like family, really.

It wasn't exactly pocket change, but honestly worth it.
